Dover Castle – Easter Medieval Weekend
Take a journey back in time where medieval knights and princesses roam. Re-live the story of George and the Dragon, as St George valiantly battles with the dastardly dragon on horseback. With storytelling and fire eating jesters too, it’s a medieval fun-packed day of time travel for kids of all ages! Bring the family and stay at Trinity Cottage or the amazing Sea Purse right on the beach at St Margaret’s Bay.
Walmer Castle – Easter Adventure Quest 14th-17th April
Adventurers wanted this Easter weekend. You’ll meet the King and characters from the past with stories of times gone by. Rise to their challenge and win a reward. It’s time to get hands-on with history! While you spend a fun day out here you can then go back to one of our nearby self-catering cottages, family-friendly and of course pet friendly.
Hot Cross Bun Making – Good Friday 14 April
Join us to make Hot Cross Buns this Good Friday. Come as an individual or a small family group (£40 per booking for up to two adults and two children). You will leave with plenty of hot cross buns and a skill for life and we will have great fun in the process.
Seal Watching – £20 per head 1-25 April 2017
Take a trip to an active seal colony inside a National Nature Reserve which also has the benefits of a wide range of birds including the rare ingret. We time these trips to coincide with tidal flows for the best chance of seeing these wonderful mammals in their natural habitat.
Ideal for all the family and brilliant for photographs, so remember to bring your camera so you can capture your experience onboard the boat.

Bella, Charlie, Danny and Dermot, the loveable donkeys, will be making a special Easter visit to Betteshanger between 11am and 3pm. Chin rubs, back scratches, cuddles and carrots are the order of the day. Families are also invited to take part in the Little Donkey Quest and spot how many donkeys can be found around the Visitor Centre and Play area.
