Information for guests on the Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Important update about Coronavirus Covid-19:

The world is currently facing an outbreak of a new strain of coronavirus, COVID-19.

This pandemic is understandably a cause for concern, as it continues to spread throughout the UK, with the long-term effects on health and the economy still unknown.

At Keepers Cottages, we both recognise and appreciate the concern that this virus might be causing our guests.

This is a situation that will change on a daily basis and so we will continue to monitor and follow guidance from both the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and The Department for Health & Social Care.

Anyone due to depart for their holiday before 3rd July 2020 will now be able to amend their booking, without incurring a booking amendment fee.

Frequently asked questions

We have an upcoming holiday cottage booking. Can we still stay?

On 23rd March 2020, the UK government gave a clear instruction that everyone must remain in their homes.

It is therefore no longer possible for you to travel to your holiday cottage if your booking is for arrival before the 3rd July 2020.

Our main concern right now is to support our customers through this difficult period.

We will therefore allow any guest affected by this situation to amend their booking, without incurring our usual booking amendment fee.

What should I do if I am currently on holiday?

You are advised to follow government guidance. Lastest advice can be found here:

Can I amend my holiday cottage booking?

We are working to support our customers so have waived our normal amendment fees for customers impacted by Covid-19.

Please be aware that if the cost of your accommodation when you transfer is higher than your original booking, you may have to make a further payment. Of course, if it costs less, then you may receive a partial refund.

We are continuously monitoring the situation regarding this and it is important to us that we offer support and reassurance to our customers during this time.

When can I book a 2020 holiday cottage break with Keepers Cottages?

The safety of our customers and owners is paramount and therefore, in line with the latest government travel guidance, we are only able to accept new bookings that have a check-in date after the 3rd July 2020.

How do I get in touch with Keepers Cottages?

Simply contact Keeper Cottages us via our normal channels. We are currently very busy responding to enquiries but please be assured, we will get back to you.
