Dover Castle World War II weekend runs 23 – 25 May and is a must for families

Walk the White Cliffs

An absolutely stunning walk starting from the National Trust Visitor Centre situated above the Port of Dover following the cliff path to the Victorian South Foreland Lighthouse. Reward yourself with tea and cake from Mrs Knott’s tea room and relax whilst the children fly kites, play giant-size wooden games and follow a secret treasure trail.

Wellington Boot Camp at Walmer Castle and Gardens

Children can join the ranks of Wellington’s army, train as a soldier for the Redcoats in musket drills and take part in the Kids Battle of Waterloo. After an exhausting battle, it’s time for the grown-ups to enjoy the 10-acre gardens including the Kitchen Garden.

Deal Classic Car Show

Deal has its very own Classic Car Show on Sunday 24 May. With space for 600 classic vehicles on Walmer Green, classic music and entertainment and retro market.In support of RNLI.

 Shell Grotto, Margate

Discover 4.6 million shells, 70 feet of winding underground passages leading to a rectangular chamber, 2000 square feet of mosaic and one big mystery!

Mount Ephriam Gardens, Faversham
