Bonfire night is just 5 sleeps away and here are the best firework displays near Deal.




Warden House School in Deal has their annual firework display on Saturday November 5th at 7.15pm. Entry is from 5.30pm. Advance tickets (available from the school): adults £5; children £4; pre-school children £1. Entry on the gate is £1 extra per person. Warden House School is on Birdwood Avenue, Deal CT14 9SF. Ripple village has its annual firework display and bonfire this Saturday with refreshments available in the village hall. There is a Judge the Guy competition at 18.30 p.m. Ripple is just outside of Deal.

Northbourne Park

Northbourne Park School is holding its bonfire and fireworks night on Saturday 5 November from 5.15pm. Tickets are £7 in advance (£10 on the night). The ticket price includes supper and there is a licensed bar. Tickets available from the school office 01304 611215. There will be fireworks at Dover Seafront on Friday November 4 at 7pm.


This firework display will be held over Viking Bay in Victoria Parade on Saturday, November 5. The event starts at 6pm, with the display around 9.45pm and will last approximately 15 minutes. There will be live music at the bandstand between 8.30pm and 9.45pm by This Little Girl and The Dillicats.


Kent County Cricket Club is hosting a night of entertainment and fireworks on Saturday, November 5 at the Spitfire Ground in St Lawrence. kmfm’s Laura Nevitt will be hosting the fun with live music from Old Town Souls, interactive competitions and performances from the Spitfire Sweethearts. Gates open at 5pm, with entertainment from 5.30pm, and fireworks at 7.15pm for the Binny’s and KM Group-sponsored event. Tickets in advance are £6 (£8 on the gate), two to 14-year-olds £3 (£4 on the gate) and a family of two adults and two juniors £15 (or £20 on the gate). For tickets go to

Quex Park, Birchington

Quex Park is holding its ninth annual display at the park in Birchington on Saturday, November 5 between 5pm and 9pm and this year there is a classical touch to this event. There will be a funfair, two firework displays, bonfire, craft marquee and onsite entertainment, food and drink. Entry is £8.50, £6.50 for three to 13 years, and a family of four £28. On the night entry will be £10 and £8 for three to 13-year-olds, cash only. For further information visit
