Locally sourced goods from Kent

Serving up freshly ground coffee to morning commuters, and keeping travellers supplied with an ever-tempting range of cakes and pastries. Grab some snacks or a morning coffee to go before your train journey or as your first stop upon arrival. Croissants, bacon rolls and Swedish buns from Byggabo are a great choice, sure to brighten up any train journey. For a healthier option, there’s fresh fruit, granola and yoghurt pots and overnight oats.

Kate’s brownies are truly the best!

Be sure to remember your travel coffee cup, discounts are offered as Deal is an eco-conscious town and small businesses are all doing their bit to help you cut down on single-use plastics, if not the cups are fully recyclable.

Hut 55, Deal

The Post Room’s sister business is Hut 55. Located just off Marine Road near the paddling pool in an idyllic white beach hut.

The hut appeals to everybody!

The hut has lots of treats on offer for beachgoers and day trippers alike. Baguettes, sausage rolls, cakes, oaty bars for energy and pastries too. There’s even a little sweetie corner stocked with popping candy, Caramacs and retro foam shrimps. It’s a handy place to grab a chilled drink if you’ve been soaking up the sun all day on the beach.

There’s plenty of deck chairs and comfy seating around the hut so you can watch the waves while sipping on an iced coffee. They even provide picnics for the perfect summer’s day out. “Offensively large scotch eggs” are a favourite, along with sausage rolls and cheese straws.

Yoga on the Beach

During the summer, head down to Hut 55 for yoga on the beach. Each Friday (weather permitting) join Love Yoga in Deal for a session. £12 covers the cost of an hour-long class and you’ll get a hot drink and a breakfast granola pot.
