Magical Medieval Christmas at Canterbury Tales
December 14th – 15th
Navigate the medieval streets of Canterbury to find Father Christmas and convince him to return to the present day!
There will be festive activities to complete, games to be played and songs to be sung. Followed by the chance to meet with Father Christmas himself: children on the ‘nice’ list will even go home with a present from St Nick himself. Suitable for children aged 2-10 years. Booking is essential.
Winterland Margate at Dreamland
7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, then daily 21st – 31st December 2019 (excluding 25 December), 11am-5pm
Bring the whole family to the seaside for a Christmassy day out at Dreamland. There’s a winter market with food and drink, film screenings, a fairy light walk, crafts and seasonal rides.
Climb inside a giant snow globe and play in the mini blizzard. Great news for animal lovers, because dogs will also be allowed in the park with their owners. There’s a lot of enjoyment to be had, so leave time in the build-up for some fun at the fair.
Enchanted Walmer Castle
Dates available throughout December
Take a tour of Walmer Castle grounds as they are illuminated in spectacular colours for the season.
Take this opportunity to see the new historic Glen, which has been newly restored. With dancing fairies, talking trees and enchanting trails to follow, children will be in for a treat. There will be mince pies and mulled wine waiting for you at the end of your tour, and fairground rides and games will keep the fun going long into the evening.
A brilliant way to enjoy the beautiful grounds of Walmer Castle as you’ve never seen them before. Book early to avoid disappointment.
