Recently renovated to a very high standard, with meticulous attention paid to colour, furniture and fittings in each room, Pond Cottage is a bright, light filled house, perfectly suited to holiday cottage accommodation for larger groups.

Step inside Pond Cottage and you will find refurbished wooden floors throughout, together with a modern, fully fitted kitchen, complete with double ovens and gas hob for those keen to access the very best cooking facilities.
Guests can sit informally at the kitchen table and chat or gather round the more formal dining table for dinner.
A large lounge area, with quaint pillars, offers comfortable seating in front of the roaring wood burner.
Or you might choose to head to the smaller, second reception room, which overlooks the small side garden and also featuring a wood burner as well as an upright piano.
Head upstairs via the solid-wood staircases located at either end of the property and you will find five bedrooms, each thoughtfully decorated and accessorised alongside a large bathroom complete with an original 1926 bathtub, which has recently been re-enameled.
A further shower room can be found on the ground floor.

Those keen to explore the outside of Pond Cottage will find a child and pet friendly wrap around, gated garden with a generous gravel drive which easily accommodates three cars.

Just perfect for little ones and their furry friends to run off some energy and perhaps play hide and seek.

Pond Cottage is located in the quaint village of Adisham, about a 15 minute drive from the centre of Canterbury.
The village itself is steeped in history, lying on one of the routes that formed part of the Pilgrims’ Way, immortalised by Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales.
Pond Cottage is also close to the North Downs Way, with easily accessed trails through the village’s woods, understandably popular with walkers and cyclists alike.
The region is known for its high quality local produce, game and vineyards, village pubs, as well as visitor attractions, historic destinations and wildlife parks.
And if Geoffrey Chaucer is your thing, then Canterbury is the place to head to. You can also explore its impressive Cathedral, which is the headquarters of the Church of England and Anglican Communion.
