The best holiday home we have stayed in! This is by far the best holiday home we have stayed in yet. We have been coming to Deal for years and have always chosen self catering houses. This exceeded all our expectations. We arrived late in the evening in the winter and the Keepers Cottages team lit the fire for us and left us a delicious home made cake. The house is beautiful and spacious and has well proportioned rooms with high ceilings. It is light and airy and extremely well equipped. We were two families sharing and there was lots of space for the kids to sit and watch TV and play games in the sitting room while us grown ups sat around the dining table. There is a wood burner in one room and another fire in the sitting room. Having 3 bathrooms is such a treat and there is a gorgeous courtyard which would be lovely for outside dining in the warmer months. The house is on Middle Street, one of the prettiest streets in Deal. The seafront is seconds away as is the High Street. Deal is full of wonderful independent shops and restaurants. Frog and Scott is a French bistro which has recently opened and the owners are so friendly. The Slow Food cafe does great breakfast and the market on a Saturday is fantastic. We love Deal and we love this house and shall always book through Keepers Cottages. They were incredibly helpful, providing a travel cot and a highchair. They were so friendly and very professional. The house was immaculate and the whole experience was superb! Can't wait to come back John from London, January 2019
just thought we'd let you know that we all had a fantastic time staying at 142 Middle Street. It was a superb property in a great spot. We fell in love with Deal and Middle Street, they are absolute gems we were really pleased to discover, along with the other towns, countryside and various pubs of Kent including the Zetland Arms, our favourite, a fantastic spot, great food and with views of France included! We will definitely be returning to discover more. If possible, please could we keep the £100 deposit 'on account' to put towards another stay sometime later in the year? Sim and Julia, August 2018
