Keepers Cottages are delighted to offer this fabulous townhouse which has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard by its current owners. The property is arranged over four floors; all bedrooms are on the upper floors and the basement has been turned into a wonderful open reception room with a state of the art fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The owners have carefully thought of everything you may need to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. No. 5 Ranelagh Road really is the perfect location for a seaside getaway in Deal.

Basement (Reception, dining and kitchen area)

The entire basement floor has been turned into the ultimate social space. There is a cosy reception room at the front, with three sofas, two large bean bags, cosy rugs, subtle lighting and a TV and sound system.

The open plan space has a dining room with a large wooden dining table, which easily sits ten people. The kitchen leads off the dining room and is fully equipped with a twin Smeg oven, American style fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

The kitchen leads to a simple, enclosed paved garden.

Ground Floor

Cloakroom / Shower room

Six steps lead you up to the front door where you enter a sunny tiled hallway with both a cloakroom and separate shower room with hand basin. Both are fitted out to a very high standard with chrome fittings and pristine tiles.

Master bedroom

The first luxurious master bedroom is on this floor and has one of the two king-size beds. The room is decorated in crisp white and deep royal blue with mirrored furniture, an original fireplace, white shutters and a beautiful crystal chandelier. The overall effect is one of complete glamour!

Twin bedroom

There is also a twin bedroom on this floor decorated in white with wooden bunk beds which would suit children or young teens the room has a pleasant rear window view.

First Floor


Two flights of softly carpeted stairs lead you to the the first floor with another newly installed bathroom complete with a shower, WC and hand basin. Great attention has been given to the fittings and finish to ensure you have a very comfortable stay.

Master bedroom

The second master bedroom is located on the second floor and has another king-size bed. This grey fabric covered bed has an integral TV in the foot base which compliments the cool grey and white tones of this room.

Twin bedroom

There is a second twin bedroom with bunk beds on this floor perfect for children or young teens, this room also has a pleasant garden view.

Second Floor


Two further flights of stairs lead you to the second floor which has another large bathroom with a WC, hand basin and shower cubicle. The dormer window gives you a birds-eye view of Deal's famous Time-Ball Tower!

Twin bedroom

There is a further cosy nautical themed twin room on this floor with separate wooden beds and some storage.

A nice big house with plenty of space in an ideal location for exploring Deal and its beaches. Mr H Frost, September 2020
This is a fantastic house in a great location, right by the beach and centre of town. We had a wonderful stay here. Guests should be aware though that it's almost always impossible to park outside the house. Private Feedback: We had a fabulous stay at the house.
