Welcome to Bay Tree House a beautifully renovated townhouse in the heart of Deal. This elegant two bedroom property would suit couples, a small family or some friends looking for a relaxing stay in Deal. The current owners have recently renovated the entire house and in doing so created a bright and airy home maximising the space, yet still retaining many original features. The clever mix of contemporary and classic styling flows throughout the house and the carefully chosen colour-palette of fresh whites and darker tones give an overall feeling of calm and relaxation.

Two steps lead you through the front door and into the inner vestibule
The open-plan reception rooms have been configured with a formal dining room with seating for up to eight people to the front and relaxed sitting area to the rear with pretty views of the garden.

Kitchen / Utility Room
The well-equipped kitchen has a range of fitted cupboards, large SMEG gas cooker, larder-style fridge-freezer, sink and clever integral storage. There is ample china and glassware and cooking equipment.
The adjacent utility room has further storage, built-in dishwasher, a useful Butler’s sink and a charming tea and coffee making area with a ‘Nepresso’ coffee maker.

Cloakroom
An additional useful utility area is located off the kitchen and has a garden view from the butlers sink, built-in dishwasher and tea and coffee making facilities. A ground floor cloakroom with WC and handbasin is located at the rear.

First Floor

Double Bedroom

Stairs lead you to the first floor. A second, short flight of stairs leads you to the simply-decorated double bedroom with garden views. The owners have furnished the bedrooms with soft carpet, extremely comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. There is a built-in cupboard and a chest of drawers for guests use.

Master Bedroom
The front facing master bedroom has a pleasant street view from the large bay window. An extremely comfortable king-size bed, luxurious bedding and ample storage. An elegant pale wood bench matches the wooden headboard.


Bathroom
The newly-installed bathroom is located to the rear and has a pretty tiled floor, wooden panelled walls and tiled bath area. There is large handbasin, WC and built-in bath with shower overhead and a heated towel rail. A washing machine / dryer is stored in the built-in bathroom cupboard, guests are welcome to use this during their stay.

Garden Building and additional occupancy
There is a cosy L -shaped garden building which is set up with a day bed during the day perfect for lounging or reading a book perhaps, whilst enjoying the garden.
The day bed can be configured as 2 single beds for overflow guests and would be ideally suited to older children or teenagers, the building has heating.

Garden
Bay Tree House has a pretty enclosed garden with mature planting, a large Bay tree and a paved area with furniture. There is wonderful enclosed rear garden with the handsome Bay Tree from which the property takes its name the perfect place to enjoy a drink or bite to eat during the warmer months.



Local Information

Located in the conservation area and an approximate 8-10 minute walk from Deal Train Station, Princes St is a pretty, quiet road, just a short distance from Deal High St and the famous seafront. There is a choice of café’s, bars, and restaurants nearby as well as wonderful array of both independent shops and some well-known retailers. The popular Deal Town Market which happens every Saturday (weather permitting!) Is also very close by and a must for weekend visitors to the town. You will be spoilt for choice with the numerous suppliers of baked goods, coffee, wines and fresh produce alongside antiques and local crafts.
