"Bowden Lodge is a beautiful house and even better than the pictures depict. The grounds are lovely and the beach is only a few minutes walk away, some nice pubs along the beachfront too. The house has amazing facilities and we had the most amazing weekend. We’ll definitely be back!"

"We were 6 couples and went for three nights commencing the day before New Year's Eve. We took our own food and drink. The house was wonderful, ticked all the boxes. Everything was thought of in the kitchens. Great location as we did lots of lovely walks and some of us played golf. We would highly recommend the property and this part of the world."

"My wife and I rented Bowden Lodge for her 50th birthday for ourselves and our friends. The house was perfect - spacious, comfortable and exactly what we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The games room provided great entertainment whilst the living and dining room accommodated us comfortably. We cannot recommend this property highly enough!"

"Arrived at this beautiful place and was instantly taken with its views and grounds. the barn was ideal for our family with plenty of room to spread out and the pool was great nice and warm. few minutes from the beach for fishing. we stayed for three nights but all wished we could have stayed longer. would definately go back"

Good location, nice and peaceful but within walking distance of the sea and local pubs (Try the food at Zetland Arms, very good). All the rooms are decorated to a high standard and great having so many en-suite bathrooms. Communal areas and garden were great for being altogether as we were a party of 5 couples and 2 toddlers celebrating a 50th birthday. Kitchen and cooking facilities are excellent for large groups, and the games room was an added bonus, unfortunately the weather wasnt good enough for the swimming pool but I’m sure it would be great in warmer times and it be no means impacted on our weekend. Would definitely recommend as a great place to get together with friends and family."

Great for children who loved running around the big garden and swimming in the pool. The house has everything you could want and more. Beautiful bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. The team at Keepers Cottages have been amazing to deal with and have always been at the end of the phone or email with instant responses to my queries and accommodating an early check in and a late check out. It really made all the difference. So huge thank you to the team for making everything so easy. I hope to be booking again sometime soon and will definitely recommend Keepers Cottages to friends and family."

"Lots of people staying two with small children and great weather meant we did not venture far so not able to comment on local attractions. However it is an easy walk to beach, bit tricky short part pushing buggy but great to be able to walk to pub on the beach. Pool a terrific bonus, as was the games room. Loads of bathrooms mean everyone felt they had own space. All delightful. Also took dog. Perfect for dogs."

"The house was perfect for our parents 70th bday. We enjoyed the Sonos and had fireworks in the garden. We really loved the comfy bed and the amount of amazing baths that were in the property. Excellently equipped for the families with small children. Everything we needed and more. We hope to return!

"Bowden Lodge is a beautiful house in a beautiful and quiet location. The space is more than adequate even with a full house with large communal areas and a games room. The grounds are lovely with plenty of space for parking as well, the swimming pool is a bonus.

Your house is lovely and it was a very pleasant stay, it fitted our needs perfectly and hopefully we’ll be back Feb/March next year"

"Bowden Lodge was a wonderful choice for our team offsite! The location is great (<12mins from Deal station); <5mins walk to the beach; <15mins walk to Zetland Arms pub ; <15mins cab to Chequers Kitchen (which was a great team building activity)! The property itself was very spacious and could easily have accommodated twice as many of us (we were 5 ppl). The bedrooms are a great size and two upstairs have ensuite which is great..the bedroom downstairs had a leak over the weekend before we arrived so it was out of action but this wasn't a problem as we still had 5 rooms upstairs. The games room was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed playing pool in the evenings but if that's not your thing, worry not as there are a ton of other board games to suit different ages / personalities etc. The lodge was extremely clean and tidy when we arrived - the grounds/ garden were well manicured. The pool was out of action as it needed a clean /water top up. Luckily we didn't have time to use it but if this is important to you for your stay, then ensure to double check that it's usable to avoid disappointment. We'll definitely be staying at Bowden Lodge again! It was great and the cake on arrival was a nice touch :)!"

"I thought it was great for a group because there were spaces big enough for everyone to congregate but also smaller cosier spaces for those that wanted them." It was great to have such well-equipped kitchen spaces and the dining space is great for eating as a group. Some of us enjoyed a dip in the pool (which was cool but lovely!) and the main lounge was a wonderful place to hang out. Good location, nice and peaceful but within walking distance of the sea and local pubs (Try the food at Zetland Arms, very good). All the rooms are decorated to a high standard and great having so many en-suite bathrooms. Communal areas and garden were great for being altogether as we were a party of 5 couples and 2 toddlers celebrating a 50th birthday. Kitchen and cooking facilities are excellent for large groups, and the games room was an added bonus, unfortunately the weather wasnt good enough for the swimming pool but I’m sure it would be great in warmer times and it be no means impacted on our weekend. Would definitely recommend as a great place to get together with friends and family."

"Bowden Lodge was a wonderful choice for our team offsite! The location is great (<12mins from Deal station); <5mins walk to the beach; <15mins walk to Zetland Arms pub ; <15mins cab to Chequers Kitchen (which was a great team building activity)! The property itself was very spacious and could easily have accommodated twice as many of us (we were 5 ppl). The bedrooms are a great size and two upstairs have ensuite which is great..the bedroom downstairs had a leak over the weekend before we arrived so it was out of action but this wasn't a problem as we still had 5 rooms upstairs. The games room was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed playing pool in the evenings but if that's not your thing, worry not as there are a ton of other board games to suit different ages / personalities etc. The lodge was extremely clean and tidy when we arrived - the grounds/ garden were well manicured. The pool was out of action as it needed a clean /water top up. Luckily we didn't have time to use it but if this is important to you for your stay, then ensure to double check that it's usable to avoid disappointment. We'll definitely be staying at Bowden Lodge again! It was great and the cake on arrival was a nice touch :)!"

"Arrived at this beautiful place and was instantly taken with its views and grounds. the barn was ideal for our family with plenty of room to spread out and the pool was great nice and warm. few minutes from the beach for fishing. we stayed for three nights but all wished we could have stayed longer. would definately go back"

Good location, nice and peaceful but within walking distance of the sea and local pubs (Try the food at Zetland Arms, very good). All the rooms are decorated to a high standard and great having so many en-suite bathrooms. Communal areas and garden were great for being altogether as we were a party of 5 couples and 2 toddlers celebrating a 50th birthday. Kitchen and cooking facilities are excellent for large groups, and the games room was an added bonus, unfortunately the weather wasnt good enough for the swimming pool but I’m sure it would be great in warmer times and it be no means impacted on our weekend. Would definitely recommend as a great place to get together with friends and family."

Great for children who loved running around the big garden and swimming in the pool. The house has everything you could want and more. Beautiful bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. We had such a great few days staying at Bowden Lodge. The team at Keepers Cottages have been amazing to deal with and have always been at the end of the phone or email with instant responses to my queries and accommodating an early check in and a late check out. It really made all the difference. So huge thank you to the team for making everything so easy. I hope to be booking again sometime soon and will definitely recommend Keepers Cottages to friends and family."

"Lots of people staying two with small children and great weather meant we did not venture far so not able to comment on local attractions. However it is an easy walk to beach, bit tricky short part pushing buggy but great to be able to walk to pub on the beach. Pool a terrific bonus, as was the games room. Loads of bathrooms mean everyone felt they had own space. All delightful. Also took dog. Perfect for dogs."

"The house was perfect for our parents 70th bday. We enjoyed the Sonos and had fireworks in the garden. We really loved the comfy bed and the amount of amazing baths that were in the property. Excellently equipped for the families with small children. Everything we needed and more. We hope to return!

"Bowden Lodge is a beautiful house in a beautiful and quiet location. The space is more than adequate even with a full house with large communal areas and a games room. The grounds are lovely with plenty of space for parking as well, the swimming pool is a bonus.

"Bowden Lodge was a wonderful choice for our team offsite! The location is great (<12mins from Deal station); <5mins walk to the beach; <15mins walk to Zetland Arms pub ; <15mins cab to Chequers Kitchen (which was a great team building activity)! The property itself was very spacious and could easily have accommodated twice as many of us (we were 5 ppl). The bedrooms are a great size and two upstairs have ensuite which is great..the bedroom downstairs had a leak over the weekend before we arrived so it was out of action but this wasn't a problem as we still had 5 rooms upstairs. The games room was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed playing pool in the evenings but if that's not your thing, worry not as there are a ton of other board games to suit different ages / personalities etc. The lodge was extremely clean and tidy when we arrived - the grounds/ garden were well manicured. The pool was out of action as it needed a clean /water top up. Luckily we didn't have time to use it but if this is important to you for your stay, then ensure to double check that it's usable to avoid disappointment. We'll definitely be staying at Bowden Lodge again! It was great and the cake on arrival was a nice touch :)!"

"Bowden Lodge is a large, spacious and well-equipped place - perfect for a large group getaway! We visited with a group of friends and had a wonderful time relaxing and spending time together. Instead of me writing this myself, here are some comments from the group: "Lovely spacious facility that met our need, well equipped kitchen and good quality bedding and towels. Quiet and tranquil venue. Loved that there was enough bathrooms!" "It was lovely!" "I thought it was great for a group because there were spaces big enough for everyone to congregate but also smaller cosier spaces for those that wanted them." It was great to have such well-equipped kitchen spaces and the dining space is great for eating as a group. Some of us enjoyed a dip in the pool (which was cool but lovely!) and the main lounge was a wonderful place to hang out. All in all, Bowden Lodge was a comfortable, smart and pleasant place to spend a weekend. We had a great time!
