Absolutely loved our stay in Captains Cottage, a beautiful home in a fantastic location. A short walk to the beach and town, in the middle of everything. The house was perfect for us, lovely kitchen for cooking or getting a take away as a big table! Great choice of books and guidebooks too. Beds were all super comfy and great showers in both bathrooms. Easy to find a spot to park only a street away too. Would stay again as the perfect location for Deal and the Kent coast. Fabulous Captain’s Cottage We had a wonderful stay at Captain’s Cottage. The property is beautifully presented with a main lounge and library downstairs, a spacious kitchen and dining area and a pleasant paved outside dining area. There is also a lovely downstairs shower room and a utility room with washer/dryer. The bedrooms are very well presented and comfortable. The house has a really pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a beach holiday. The beach is just a few minutes away where you can walk for miles in each direction or just soak up the sun and swim. The centre of Deal is an easy walk for shopping, fish and chips and many nice restaurants and takeaways. Sainsbury’s is an easy walk or very short drive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend Captain’s Cottage. Chris Kessling, August 2020
It was a lovely house to stay in, beautifully equipped and a nice feeling to it because of the wonderful selection of books etc. I am very grateful for the reduced price, I wouldn't have been able to stay there without that and it was good to have the space to study in. It was very cold when we arrived, I put the heating on, which made me feel guilty, it being warm summer weather, but my hands were like icicles. I think it may have been due to the house being empty as I didn't need to put it on again. Some instructions for the coffee machine would be good. I was excited to see it but couldn't figure out how to work it. But that is just a minor detail in a lovely stay in a beautiful house. I would stay there again and it would be suitable for my whole family to stay in as there were three double rooms. We often have to toss coins if both our children and partners come with us, as its unusual not to have single beds or bunks in the third room. Thank you again Camilla! jill stasinopoulos, August 2019
