Keepers Cottages welcomes you to the Filmer Cottage, a delightful modern three bedroom property in the heart of Walmer, just a short walk from the seafront and local amenities. The owners have worked very hard to create a comfortable, yet practical coastal-style retreat. Great attention has been given to the fittings & furnishings which have been completed to an extremely high standard & give the property a light & airy coastal feel. This home is the perfect base for a holiday in Deal and would suit families, couples or a small group of friends.
Ground floor
Entrance
As you enter the front door of Filmer Cottage, you will instantly feel like you have arrived at the coast.
Cloakroom
On your right as you enter is a cloakroom with basin and WC.
Kitchen
The well equipped kitchen has a washing machine, gas hob, electric cooker and large fridge-freezer with a water dispenser. You will find everything you need to prepare meals during your stay should you need a break from fish and chips!
Reception/dining room
A glazed internal door opens into the large, comfortably furnished reception room and dining area. Two large, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, soft carpets and glazed doors leading to a pleasant enclosed courtyard garden with a bistro table and chairs. The dining table is extendable and comfortably seats up to six people.
First floor
Double bedroom
A slightly smaller yet comfortably furnished double bedroom with built in storage, some seating and soft grey linen blinds.
Double bedroom
A large double bedroom with a TV and a comfortable white wooden bed with beautiful white bedlinen and built in storage.
Twin bedroom
The rear facing twin bedroom has good sized, white wooden bunk beds and continues the theme of beautiful crisp white bedding. The rear bedrooms look out onto the garden and attractive rooftops.
Bathroom
The first floor has a front facing bathroom with a P shaped bath with chrome shower and glazed screen, vanity unit with light up mirror, WC and wooden shutters.

Deal town centre provides further facilities and the neighbouring towns of Sandwich, Dover and Canterbury are easily accessed via the A2 and A258 and together provide a comprehensive range of services. Railway stations at Deal and Walmer provide connections to Ramsgate, Sandwich, Dover and London. The High Speed service runs from Dover Priory to London St. Pancras in just over an hour.
