The main house is set over three floors with sea views from the living room and four of its five bedrooms, so you can wake up and see the sea! This quirky and charming home is full of surprises: painted Georgian wall panels and glass doors as well as smuggler’s hatches all nodding to the property’s rich historical past. The richly coloured sitting room has a large open Georgian fireplace, the dining room has views to the enclosed courtyard garden and amazing roof terrace, and the kitchen is a fabulous conversion believed to be an old smokehouse, thus the huge exposed fireplace. The annexe, which is right next door is small but perfectly formed. The property comprises a snug sitting room with sea views, kitchen/diner and upstairs are two bedrooms and shower room. Step outside and the long promenade, wide beach and long pier are yours to explore and enjoy. Walk in one direction to reach the historic town of Sandwich and in the other direction, lies Walmer and Kingsdown. Otters Hatch & Annexe sleep 8 adults and 4 children.

One dog welcome in the main house only please. Please note additional pet charges are £25.
There is an enclosed courtyard to the rear with seating. Strictly no unattended children allowed on the roof terrace.

Central heating throughout.
The bunk beds are small (2.6ft).

House Rules
We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Strictly no unattended children allowed on the roof terrace or the ladder to the mezzanine level.
Weight restriction on mezzanine level - 2 adults.
Bathroom- do not use handheld shower due to wallpaper- please use this for baths only- there is a separate shower.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
Please turn off heat before you leave.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any unattended candles in the property and to use the fire guard.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 9am and outside from 8pm- 9am.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.
