Keepers Cottages are delighted to present Riley Cottage, a delightful two bedroom cottage at the north of Middle Street in the heart of the conservation area, just minutes from the High Street and the seafront. Riley Cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard, whilst retaining many original features including exposed beams and brickwork. Arranged over three floors, this home has been lovingly designed to provide a relaxing and comfortable space. The ground floor has a wonderful open plan reception/dining and kitchen room with a stable door out to the courtyard. Upstairs you will find two extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated bedrooms and one large family bathroom. Riley Cottage would be ideally suited for a couple or a family with young children and is a perfectly located, self-catering holiday home.

Open plan reception room

Step through the front door and into a wonderful and cosy sitting room with exposed beams, wooden floors, attractive lighting, a log burner and a choice of comfortable seating. There is an exposed brickwork chimney breast surrounding the working log burner, perfect for chilly evenings. The thoughtfully arranged sitting room is the ideal space to sit and relax after a day at the beach.

Open plan kitchen / dining room

A well-equipped kitchen with fitted cupboards and everything you may need to prepare meals during your stay. There is a modern cooker with gas hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher and a butlers-style sink with a window above looking out to the courtyard garden. The dining area has a large wooden reclaimed dining table ideal for a fish and chip supper.

A stable door leads directly from the kitchen / dining room to the enclosed courtyard garden.

First floor

Double bedroom

Up the wooden stairs with grey carpet runners, there is a large double bedroom sleeping two people comfortably with a comfortable armchair, hanging, decorative bedside lights and plenty of wardrobe space. This bedroom has views out onto the idyllic Middle Street.

Bathroom

A large family bathroom with beautiful pale green tiling, a hand basin, WC and a wonderful free standing bath with a rain shower head. The bathroom has a large cupboard with a washing machine.

Twin bedroom

This open plan twin bedroom in the attic would be perfect for young children, with two single beds, a chest with some toys and plenty of play space.
