A visit to the Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory is a great family day out, and for the more adventurous, there is the Whitemills Wake & Aqua Park. The ground floor of the house is open plan offering a lovely social space to cook, dine and relax, and the bifold doors opens up the house onto the pretty enclosed garden, perfect for your four-legged friend. "We recently stayed at Keeper’s Cottage over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Cottage is lovely, very well appointed with a pretty, enclosed garden to the rear (so great for dogs), and off road parking at the front. It’s location, just a short walk, c.5 minutes to the centre of town, is superb. Lots of nice pubs, restaurants and shops to browse in. Great communication from the owners and Keepers team. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Sandwich."
