Property Description

The George in Walmer sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms; 1 king size bedroom with an en-suite, 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. Suitable for families or friends. Underfloor heating throughout downstairs and radiators upstairs. All bedrooms have blackout blinds.

Electric gates leading to ample private parking directly in front of the house.

Ground floor

Kitchen/Dining Room
Open plan kitchen/dining room, table to seat 6-8 and breakfast bar with two stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, double oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and ample storage. There is no coffee machine but there is a cafetiere available.

Sitting Room
Sitting room has a large corner sofa, wall mounted TV, log burner, armchair and decorative lighting.

There is a large table and chairs round the back of the house in a private setting, perfect for dining outside on those warmer evenings.

Things You Need to Know

Towels and linen are provided - no beach towels.
All logs for the wood burner can be provided for an additional cost - optional when booking.
Children must be accompianied by an adult when using the climbing frame, and do so at own risk.
Please note check in is 4pm and check out is 10am.

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to this beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.

Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Pets are not allowed at this property.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note parties (including hen and stag do) and loud music are not permitted.
Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to our neighbours.



Local Information

The house is ideally located just minutes from the beach in Walmer and has easy access to the wonderful seaside town of Deal. You can walk into Deal very easily from the house (no longer than 20 minutes) where you can find lots of independent shops, stylish bars and restaurants and art galleries. On a Saturday in Deal, there is a market in the High Street which sells wonderful cheese and wines, pastries, cakes, flowers and so much more. For those who wish to explore local countryside, there are some beautiful countryside walks just a short drive away and a choice of welcoming pubs. The beautiful beach of Sandwich Bay is located just a 15 minute drive away (look at the tide times and head over at low tide).
