The large, picturesque pond in front of the cottage creates a birdwatcher’s paradise where you can watch herons, egrets, kingfishers and many more water birds float past the windows of this stunning period cottage, part of historic Tonge Mill.
Inside the cottage is a large, stylish open plan living space with Loaf sofas and chairs, kitchen with an island unit with high stools, and upstairs are two light and airy bedrooms with Jack & Jill bathroom.
In summer you can sit on the water’s edge and enjoy a refreshing drink, and in winter months there is a wood burner to keep you cosy after spending your days out and about exploring this charming part of East Kent.
At Tonge Mill Cottage you are only a short drive from the lovely market town of Faversham, the bustling coastal town of Whitstable and the historic City of Canterbury. The more energetic guests can walk the historic Saxon Shore Way or take Cycle Route 1 which passes outside the cottage.
