Vince Cottage and Kingsdown Shepherd's Hut
Kingsdown, Kent
Vince Cottage and the Kingsdown Shepherd’s Hut are nestled in the pretty village of Kingsdown on the East Kent coast. The beach is a few minutes walk away, where you will find The Zetland Arms, a lovely beach front pub that looks out onto the white cliffs. The village also has two pubs, a butchers and small local shop and post office.
Vince Cottage is one of the oldest cottage in the village and is a charming, light and bright cottage beautifully decorated by the owner. To the front of the cottage, there is a blaze of wisteria and roses in the spring and summer. Inside, the cottage has a large open space ground floor perfect for socialising, with doors onto a paved patio and newly planted cottage garden. At the top of the garden is a shepherd’s hut, providing an oasis for two, and is completely self contained. The hut is for over 16s only.
A short drive away, you will find Deal and Walmer in one direction and St Margaret’s Bay and Dover in the other, so plenty of things to do, places to explore and history in which to immerse yourself.

Reviews
"We had a lovely stay at Vince Cottage - helped by the most glorious weather. We enjoyed a walk along the coastal hilltops to St Margaret's Bay (+ lunch at the coastguard - enjoyed by all) & another day left along the flat coastal path, with lunch at Deal Pier Kitchen (no booking - the queue looked quite long but moved fairly quickly). We also had a nice lunch at the Zetland Arms. The local butchers/deli was great & the children enjoyed choosing a souvenir from the gift shop.
Thanks for a lovely holiday."
