Our top Valentines activities
The end of the pier
Take a stroll to the end of the pier, and explore its lower deck. There’s not many people around at night and you’ll get an unbeatable view of Deal lit up. Worth bracing the winds for and a romantic way to round off the evening.
Cliff top walk
Park up at St Margarets or set off from Kingsdown. A walk along the famous White Cliffs is a great way to get away from it all. Stroll along one of the many public footpaths and take in the stunning views of the coastline and on a clear day look out to France.
The Arcade
Go old school with your date, bring along your pennies and take them to the arcade. The retro slot machines and games at Deal’s amusements are always great fun and would be the ideal way to break the ice before heading to a restaurant. If you’re feeling flashy you could even treat yourselves to some candy floss!
Walmer Castle and Gardens
Impress with a cultured and sophisticated trip to Walmer Castle. Spend the day exploring the history of one of Deal’s landmarks. With beautiful gardens to explore and elegant rooms to take in, you’ll sweep your date off their feet. Open from February 12th till 4pm
Stay home and get cosy by the fire
With our wood burner and fireside properties you can stay in and tuck up by the fire. Glasses of wine, a roaring fire and the one you love beside you. It doesn’t get much better than that Browse our properties.
