Links Bay
Links Bay is a lovely modern house that will appeal to holiday makers and golfers alike. In fact you can see the Cinque Ports golf course from the bedroom window, and the championship courses of Royal St George and Princes are a short distance. Holiday makers will love the location being less than 100 yards from the beach, and you can bring the family dog too for wonderful walks along the promenade.This delightful house offers all you need for a comfortable and easy stay in Deal. It has a sociable open plan ground floor, and upstairs are two bedrooms and bathroom. The sunny enclosed garden is great for relaxing after a busy day on the beach or golf course, and there is free parking right outside the house.Links Bay is located just yards from the beach and the centre of Deal is accessed via a lovely, seafront walk along the attractive promenade. Deal is a pretty Georgian town with artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. In the other direction is the historic town of Sandwich, rich in history as well as being famous for its golf courses.

There are a couple of steps up to the property, and the bedrooms are on the first and second floor. The stairs have a handrail on one side.
Free parking outside the property, with space for 1 car. We kindly ask that you please DO NOT park additional cars outside neighbours properties.

- A starter pack of sundries such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid and hand soaps are provided to get you started, but you may wish to bring more for your self catering holiday - especially if staying for over a week
- We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
- Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
- Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the garden is perfect for dogs as it is completely enclosed. The house is ideally located for dog walks, and the seafront is less than a couple of minutes walk away. We'd recommend walking along the beach either towards Sandwich, along Royal Cinque Ports golf course or towards Deal, past the pier and along to Kingsdown - where The Zetland Arms will meet you at the end with a pint of pawns and a refreshing drink.
No, there is no coffee machine at the property. Deal is however, the perfect place to be positioned for some of the best takeaway coffees in Kent. We'd suggest the following places, which are all a short walk away: Climpsons & Sons, The Pop Up Cafe, Arno & Co, Hope & Lane, The Hog & Bean. The Hog & Bean also have a van which is often parked outside Sandown Castle, which is less than a minutes walk away from the property, and offers the ideal start to a dog walk.
Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club is around a 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the property. Visitors are welcome Monday to Thursday, though as a private club it isn't open to non-members at weekends.
Royal St George's is a short drive from the property. Visitors are welcome on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a handicap index of 18.4 or below required to play. Prince's Golf Club is a short drive from the property. Unlike its neighbouring courses, it welcomes visitors seven days a week, with no handicap restriction.

Deal
Links Bay is ideally located in Deal, offering a relaxed coastal setting within easy reach of the town’s seafront and open shoreline. The pebble beach and promenade are close by, perfect for early morning walks or unhurried evenings beside the English Channel. With wide skies and fresh sea air, this part of the coast invites a slower pace, while Deal’s compact layout makes exploring on foot both simple and enjoyable.
Deal’s award-winning high street is a particular highlight, known for its independent boutiques, antiques shops, artisan bakeries and excellent delis. Seafront pubs and seafood restaurants line the promenade, while cafés and wine bars are tucked into the Georgian streets behind. Deal Pier offers classic seaside views, and Deal Castle and Walmer Castle provide a fascinating insight into the town’s long naval and maritime history.
Beyond the town, scenic coastal walking and cycling routes stretch north towards Sandwich Bay and south to Kingsdown, offering expansive views and peaceful stretches of coastline. Deal railway station provides direct services to London, making Links Bay a superb base for both short breaks and longer stays exploring the Kent coast.

A Victorian signalling tower on the seafront, where the timeball still drops on the hour. Four floors of maritime history and smuggling tales, plus views from the top.
The Pop Up Cafe
Spread across a few knocked-together shopfronts on the High Street, The Pop Up Cafe serves homemade sourdough, cheese scones and seasonally changing soups – not to mention some of the best coffee in town!
The Pelican Rooms
A hidden gem tucked above The Blue Pelican on Beach Street, The Pelican Rooms offers facials, massage treatments and so much more in the wellness space. A good one to know for a slower morning in Deal.
Bygga Bo
A little taste of Sweden at Deal’s Saturday market. Bygga Bo bakes cinnamon buns and Fika treats that draw a queue before the stalls have properly opened. A Keepers favourite!
Deal Pier
Kent’s last surviving leisure pier, opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1957. Walk its length for sea views, cast a line, or stop at Deal Pier Kitchen at the far end. On a clear day you can see France.
Cycle to Kingsdown
Take the flat coastal path from Deal to Kingsdown, ideal for walking or cycling. Pass Walmer Castle & Gardens, explore Kingsdown’s beautiful beaches and seafront, including The Zetland Arms. Hire bikes locally from Hut 55.

Deal has not one but three Tudor castles built by Henry VIII, namely Deal, Walmer and Sandown. The first two you can visit whilst Sandown (of which only a few stones remain) is on the cycle path that follows the coast.
