Malvern House
Malvern House is an elegant and spacious townhouse located just seconds from the seafront and historic Deal Castle. Sleeping up to eight guests across five bedrooms, it's an excellent choice for groups of friends, families, or golfers looking for a comfortable base within easy walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. Set over four floors, the heart of the home is the lower ground floor, where a generous open plan dining and living space creates a sociable setting for gathering together after a day by the sea. The kitchen is just off the dining room, with the garden accessible via a few steps just beyond. Whether you're cooking a family meal, planning the next day's adventures or simply relaxing with a glass of wine, this welcoming space is designed for spending time together. The bedrooms are arranged across the three upper floors, offering flexible accommodation for a variety of group sizes. Two spacious king size bedrooms sit at the front of the house, while two single bedrooms provide ideal spaces for children or teens. On the top floor, a twin bedroom enjoys a peaceful position beneath the eaves. With three bathrooms spread across the upper floors, there's plenty of convenience for larger groups. Step outside and you'll find yourself just a minute's walk from the beach and promenade, perfect for morning walks, sea swims or simply watching the waves roll in. Wander along the seafront into the heart of Deal, one of Kent's most loved seaside towns, where independent shops, cafés, restaurants and traditional pubs line the characterful Georgian streets. Walmer is equally close by, offering further coastal walks, the beautiful Walmer Castle and gardens, and convenient free parking within walking distance of the property. For golfers, Malvern House is ideally situated, with Royal Cinque Ports in Deal and both Royal St George's and Prince's Golf Club in nearby Sandwich all within a short drive. Comfortable, spacious and exceptionally well located, Malvern House is an ideal coastal retreat for guests looking to enjoy the very best of Deal without needing to rely on the car.

Six steps lead you up to the front door where you enter a sunny tiled hallway.
Cloakroom / Shower room
Cloakroom and separate shower room with hand basin. Both are fitted out to a very high standard with chrome fittings and pristine tiles.
Master bedroom
The first luxurious master bedroom is on this floor and has one of the two king-size beds. The room is decorated in crisp white and deep royal blue with mirrored furniture, an original fireplace, white shutters and a beautiful crystal chandelier.
Single bedroom
There is also a bedroom with a single bed on this floor decorated in white with wooden bunk beds which would suit children or young teens the room has a pleasant rear window view.
The entire basement floor has been turned into the ultimate social space. There is a cosy reception room at the front, with three sofas, two large bean bags, cosy rugs, subtle lighting and a TV and sound system.
The open plan space has a dining room with a large wooden dining table, which easily sits ten people. The kitchen leads off the dining room and is fully equipped with a twin Smeg oven, American style fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
The kitchen leads to a simple, enclosed paved garden.
Bathroom
Two flights of softly carpeted stairs lead you to the the first floor with another newly installed bathroom complete with a shower, WC and hand basin. Great attention has been given to the fittings and finish to ensure you have a very comfortable stay.
Master bedroom
The second master bedroom is located on the second floor and has another king-size bed. This grey fabric covered bed has an integral TV in the foot base which compliments the cool grey and white tones of this room.
Single bedroom
There is a second single bedroom on this floor perfect for children or young teens, this room also has a pleasant garden view.
Bathroom
Two further flights of stairs lead you to the second floor which has another large bathroom with a WC, hand basin and shower cubicle. The dormer window gives you a birds-eye view of Deal's famous Time-Ball Tower!
Twin bedroom
There is a further cosy nautical themed twin room on this floor with separate wooden beds and some storage.
There are bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor, however, the kitchen and sitting room are located in the basement. The stairs are not too steep, and there is a handrail on one side.

- Pets are welcome and charged at £25 per pet per stay

- We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
- Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
- Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

The house is along Ranelagh Road, which is about a 2 minute walk to the beach.
You can park along Ranelagh Road for 2 hours, and there are spaces opposite the property. If this road is full, then you can park along Victoria Road (at the bottom of Ranelagh Road) which offers paid parking. If you're not needing your car then we would suggest parking along Marine Road (4 minute walk from the property), The Strand (3 to 4 minute walk) or Blenheim Road (5 to 6 minute walk). The seafront also offers paid or free parking options.
Yes, there is a Bosch coffee machine in the kitchen. Please note that pods are not provided. You can also grab a coffee from one of the many cafes in Deal. Our top recommendations would include, Hut 55 (3 minute walk, away from the Pier), The Pop Up Cafe (4 minute walk into town), Climpson and Sons (6 minute walk into town) or Hope & Lane (7 minute walk into town).

This elegant and spacious townhouse is located just seconds from the seafront, majestic Deal castle. Deal's bustling High Street is also just a short 5 minutes' walk away. 'Victoria Town' is the lighthearted name for a vibrant area of Deal where several roads of large period properties lead from the elegant tree-lined Victoria Road to the famous Deal seafront. Here you are perfectly located to enjoy every aspect of the area.
The property has very good transport links nearby as the train station is just a 10 minute walk away.

Spread across a few knocked-together shopfronts on the High Street, The Pop Up Cafe serves homemade sourdough, cheese scones and seasonally changing soups – not to mention some of the best coffee in town!

A hidden gem tucked above The Blue Pelican on Beach Street, The Pelican Rooms offers facials, massage treatments and so much more in the wellness space. A good one to know for a slower morning in Deal.

Deal Pier
Kent’s last surviving leisure pier, opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1957. Walk its length for sea views, cast a line, or stop at Deal Pier Kitchen at the far end. On a clear day you can see France.
Cycle to Kingsdown
Take the flat coastal path from Deal to Kingsdown, ideal for walking or cycling. Pass Walmer Castle & Gardens, explore Kingsdown’s beautiful beaches and seafront, including The Zetland Arms. Hire bikes locally from Hut 55.
