We absolutely loved our stay - the townhouse was perfectly located with beautiful sea views on all 3 floors, including a sunny roof terrace that was perfect for breakfast and sunset drinks. 2 lounges meant the kids felt special by having their own space fully equipped with TV and DVD collection. Master bedroom with Juliet balcony was a lovely place to wake up and slowly rise to the sights and sounds of the sea. Just watch the trip back from the en suite to avoid giving walkers a spectacle to rival the pier in the distance. Camilla and her team looked after us extremely well and made us feel relaxed right away, even whizzing by to drop off keys when we'd locked ours in the house on our first visit to the beach. Cannot recommend highly enough and if in Deal you must book with Keeper's Cottages. They deliver the holiday experience you need with warmth and minimal fuss. Mr Roving, July 2020
We had a wonderful time in Deal and found the location ideal for the whole family. The kids had it close to the beach and the grandparents didn‘t have it far to lovely Cafés, shops. So this was good for all generations. The stairs to the barrier free shower are quite steep, some elderly people might struggle, but my parents managed fine. The two sitting rooms were wonderful for all of us when needing some quiet time. I absolutely loved the view in the upstairs sitting room. Thank you for a wonderful week in Deal! Perfect location for spending time in Deal. Right on the sea front and close to the town. Lovely character house that worked well with 7 of us staying there. Well equipped kitchen and general areas. Good communications from hosts. Jacqui Cant, September 2019
Camilla and team, I would just like to thank you for the accommodation, the house “Hoop & Griffin” was perfect for us and its location beside the sea was exactly what we wanted as swimmers. Deal is a lovely place and you never know we may be back again. I should also tell you that I successfully swam across the English Channel on August 3rd. Fergal from Ireland, August 2019
Fabulous home for a getaway Very quirky and well kept property. The house is very clean and has everything you could wish for. Thanks for a lovely stay J68792 Nottingham, May 2019
Stylish and homely apartment in the centre of Deal. We loved our 4 days spent at steadfast and would definitely return for a second visit in the summer. The apartment is tasteful decorated and furnished to a high standard, the log burner is a great addition and definitely needed in the winter months. The apartment can get a little chilly downstairs but we managed to crank the heating on full and left it on full for the entire time so the house warmed up and with a few logs burning away we were lovely and comfortable. There are some lovely touches throughout, the beds are extremely comfortable and the location is perfect for Deal. Great weekend and we'll look forward to returning again in the summer. Definitely check out the Deal Peir Kitchen as that was a highlight on a beautiful sunny morning. Andrew B, February 2019
A big thank you for a great stay in Deal, we really enjoyed it and the house was lovely, very clean and catered for anything we needed. Will certainly come again when next in the area. Sandy Harper, September 2018
The Hoop and Griffin Exceeded our expectations. The property is effectively on the beach and close to the town (Website hidden by Airbnb) was an ideal base for our family holiday. The property is within easy walking distance of The High Street and all the necessary shops including an exceptional butcher. Lots of pubs, restaurants and fish and chip shops within easy walking distance. I have not been to Deal before and found it surprisingly pleasant and relaxing place. I would recommend the Hoop and Griffin Jeremy Tarbox, August 2018
Thank you to Camilla and everyone at Keepers Cottages for such a lovely holiday (and on rather short notice)!181 Beach Street was perfect for our family of four (and kittens!). It is centrally located, has amazing views and loads of space. The local baked treats at the check-in were a really delicious extra surprise. We will be back! Susan D, June 2014
Having used numerous holiday letting agents over the years, Keeper Cottages offer the best customer service we have ever experienced. They very quickly responded to all the queries we had before our holiday and were happy to offer great tips on what to do and where to go. Having never stayed on the Kent coast, we were pleased there was so much to do in Deal and the surrounding area. A great place to visit and lots for the children to do. Camilla and Keepers Cottages provide exactly what they say they offer on their website: the standard of the accommodation is high and customer service is exceptional. Since using them, I have very happily recommended Keepers Cottages to family and friends! Helen, May 2014
Thank you for facilitating a wonderful stay at 181 Beach Street over Christmas 2013 and please thank the owner for lovely Christmas goodies that were left for us. For a family of 5 adults, this was an amazing experience. The house is full of character which made its presence felt throughout the week long stay. The beds were comfortable, the two bathrooms avoided all sorts of squabbles as did the second lounge (we brought an additional TV with us). We appreciated the large fridge and the fact that the more than adequate stock of glasses, cutlery plates, toilet paper and the like. D Ball, December 2013
Would strongly recommend 'Keepers Cottages' and 181 Beach St. After looking around at lots of other cottages and other websites I came across Keepers and never looked back. Camilla was incredibly helpful - even offering help if she couldn't manage to find a cottage for my required - and very last minute dates. 181 Beach St was perfect, on the sea front and very close to town but just the right distance from the pier, and town centre. There was none of the usual nightmare time restrictions on when we could access the cottage and flexibility on the time that we had to leave which makes such a difference with young children. The house was very practical, spacious ( we were 2 families with 4 young children) comfortable and homely: great artwork, DVDs and books, toys for the children and all those things you end up needing and have forgotten in the kitchen e.g. oil, ketchup, foil etc etc. Camilla was so helpful throughout our stay - even finding us a scooter to borrow for the one child without one!Could not recommend highly enough Emma from Oxford, October 2013
