Below, we’re exploring a selection of different wellness experiences and activities in Kent that you can enjoy during your stay with us. So, whether you’re looking for relaxing things to do in Kent or wellness must-dos for a weekend away, here are some tried-and-tested suppliers we love, along with some suggestions for places to stay.

Wellness Experiences and Activities in Kent

Countless miles of coast and countryside make Kent an obvious choice for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The experiences below have been carefully curated and handpicked by the Keepers team to enhance your experience even more.

Kate from The Pelican Rooms, offering relaxing treatments to locals and visitors to Deal, Kent

The Pelican Rooms, Deal

If you’re familiar with Deal’s revered foodie scene, you’ll know that The Rose and The Blue Pelican are mainstays on any ‘must-visit’ list. Well, luckily for anyone visiting Kent, the team behind those two endeavours has branched into wellness. Housed within a typically Deal-esque townhouse overlooking the sea, The Pelican Rooms comprises a yoga studio and a calming treatment space, the soothing blue, white and green interior acting as the perfect complement to the sound of the waves below.

With a menu of dreamy wellness experiences each inspired by the ocean, this sublime sanctuary is run by Kate, a spa professional with 25 years’ experience in the industry. There are also regular workshops, giving you the chance to participate in seasonal, relaxed classes on everything from fermentation to candle-making.

Dulcie, Margate

Intrinsic to the Kent coast, Dulcie was born in a Margate kitchen when founder Dom Bridges began to question the connection between the natural world and the beauty industry. His findings? That marine algae (specifically seaweed hand-harvested from Margate’s shoreline) is a game-changer for skin health and hydration. Bringing holistic wellness to the forefront of the beauty industry, today Dulcie is a welcome antidote to the chaos, capitalism and plastic packaging that is all too familiar when it comes to beauty products. Instead, it champions pure skincare and zero plastic. They have a shop in London, but Margate remains the HQ and has a range of holistic wellbeing experiences including seaweed baths, bespoke seasonal treatments and massages specifically designed for mums-to-be.
