The bedrooms are on the first and second floor. The stairs are wooden and typical of an older cottage, but there is a handrail on one side.

Blue Skies is a wonderfully quirky, old property full of charm, though do bear in mind the stairs are steep and characterful, so it may not suit those with mobility needs.
There is no direct or private parking at the property, however, there is ample parking options nearby. Please note that you can double park outside the property to unload the car on arrival. There is time restricted parking (2 hours) in Alfred Square, and free parking along Sandown Road and College Road. You can also park along the seafront and pay for this using Ringo, and if you keep going past the Rowing Club, the parking becomes free.
Yes, this home is very family friendly. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, a lovely sitting room with a gas fire, and a large dining area for family meals.
The Wi-Fi at the house is strong and stable, which makes working from Blue Skies very suitable and easy.
Blue Skies House is ideally located in the heart of Deal, offering a relaxed coastal setting within easy reach of the town’s seafront, promenade and lively high street. The beach is close by, perfect for early morning walks or evening strolls as the light shifts across the seafront. Deal’s flat layout and welcoming atmosphere make it a pleasure to explore on foot throughout the year.
The town’s award-winning high street is a real highlight, known for its independent shops, antiques dealers, artisan bakeries and excellent delis. Seafront pubs and seafood restaurants sit alongside cosy cafés and wine bars, offering plenty of choice from brunch through to supper. Deal Pier provides classic seaside views, while Deal Castle and nearby Walmer Castle reflect the town’s long naval and maritime history.
Beyond Deal, coastal walking and cycling routes lead north towards Sandwich Bay or south to Kingsdown, both offering wide skies and expansive sea views. For day trips, the historic city of Canterbury and the Cinque Port town of Sandwich are within easy reach. Deal railway station provides direct services to London, making Blue Skies House well suited to both short breaks and longer stays on the Kent coast.
