Walmer Castle Enchanted Lights

Visit Santa at Howletts

Father Christmas is coming to…Howletts! Yes, get your tickets to see the big man at Howletts Wild Animal Park this winter season. Father Christmas and his merry elves have taken time out of their busy schedule from Saturday 17th December until Friday 23rd December 2022. Each slot will be 30 minutes and cost £10 per child. Every child will receive a Christmas gift and have their photo taken. Please see the website for more details. 

Folkestone Harbour Arm Christmas Market

Wrap up warm and celebrate the Christmas markets at Folkestone Harbour Arm. Enjoy tempting treats, delicious street food, music and festive films when you visit the Arm. This year there will be 35 festive stalls joining the site exclusively for the festivities.

Not only will their year-round traders in The Goods Yard be putting Festive Twists on their classics, but they also have a pop-up ‘Food Village’ just next door. The Food Village will be home to some new traders and some locals, including the much-loved Pork & Co and Burrito Buoy.

Marlowe Theatre and Evolution Pantomime

Marquis of Granby Christmas Lunch

 Maybe you and your loved ones fancy a break from cooking this festive season or you’d like to enjoy a Christmas meal before the big day. The Marquis of Granby, in Alkham is a wonderful local pub open for festive dinner bookings from November 25th and will be hosting a spectacular four course meal on Christmas Day.

They work with the seasons to create hearty British inspired dishes, celebrating local produce wherever possible. For the Christmas Meal you will be greeted with a glass of champagne and a selection of canapés, followed by a four course Christmas Day lunch. The meal includes a selection of five dishes per course and each are carefully selected to match the traditional festive dishes at home; from roast turkey and chestnut stuffing for main to homemade Christmas pudding for dessert.
