Fig Tree House
Fig Tree House is a delightful holiday home tucked away on a quiet road just off Alfred square, only moments from historic Middle Street and the conservation area, a minute's stroll to the sea, and five minutes from the iconic Deal Pier. Newly renovated to a high standard, this stylish, yet welcoming home sleeps up to five guests in three beautifully appointed bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and blackout roller blinds for the best nights sleep. Inside, the ground floor has two inviting and spacious living rooms, perfect for relaxing with a book or a film. A light-filled dining room with bifold doors opens onto the garden, offering a lovely setting for slow breakfasts or long laughter-filled meals. The well-equipped kitchen has been thoughtfully designed to make holiday cooking simple. The newly renovated bathroom has a free-standing bath and a walk in rainfall shower and there are two separate WCs in the house. Outside, a private walled-in tropical sunny garden featuring the house's namesake fig tree, provides a secure space for children and dogs to play. With Deal's shingle beach, High Street, local markets, historic castles and scenic coastal walks all on your doorstep, Fig Tree House is the perfect base for discovering the best of Deal and the Kent coast.

Please note that there is ongoing renovation work at the neighbouring property on weekdays (8 am - 4 pm). While this may occasionally cause daytime noise, we will keep guests updated and do our best to minimise any disruption.
We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may apply, as per the booking terms and conditions.
- Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside or outside the property at any time. Please no charging of vapes or e-scooters.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Deal
Fig Tree House is located in the heart of Deal, just seconds from the High street and the seafront. Also just a short walk to Deal Train Station, where you can catch the fast train to London St Pancras taking just over an hour. The minute you step onto the wide open beach in Deal you feel relaxed. It's uncrowded even at peak times. There are a host of delicious restaurants and the town is renowned for excellent live music.

A show at the Astor Theatre
An Edwardian arts centre on Stanhope Road with a varied programme of music, theatre and film. A good one for an evening in Deal, whatever the weather, and full of local spirit.
Timeball Tower Museum
A Victorian signalling tower on the seafront, where the timeball still drops on the hour. Four floors of maritime history and smuggling tales, plus views from the top.
The Pop Up Cafe
Spread across a few knocked-together shopfronts on the High Street, The Pop Up Cafe serves homemade sourdough, cheese scones and seasonally changing soups – not to mention some of the best coffee in town!
The Pelican Rooms
A hidden gem tucked above The Blue Pelican on Beach Street, The Pelican Rooms offers facials, massage treatments and so much more in the wellness space. A good one to know for a slower morning in Deal.
Bygga Bo
A little taste of Sweden at Deal’s Saturday market. Bygga Bo bakes cinnamon buns and Fika treats that draw a queue before the stalls have properly opened. A Keepers favourite!
Deal Pier
Kent’s last surviving leisure pier, opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1957. Walk its length for sea views, cast a line, or stop at Deal Pier Kitchen at the far end. On a clear day you can see France.
Cycle to Kingsdown
Take the flat coastal path from Deal to Kingsdown, ideal for walking or cycling. Pass Walmer Castle & Gardens, explore Kingsdown’s beautiful beaches and seafront, including The Zetland Arms. Hire bikes locally from Hut 55.

Kent boasts championship links golf at Royal St George’s, host of The Open, alongside Prince’s Golf Club, Walmer & Kingsdown and Royal Cinque Ports, offering world-class coastal courses and sweeping sea views.
Deal Castle
Deal has not one but three Tudor castles built by Henry VIII, namely Deal, Walmer and Sandown. The first two you can visit whilst Sandown (of which only a few stones remain) is on the cycle path that follows the coast.
