Sea View Cottage
Sea View Cottage is a stunning holiday home perfectly located on the historic Island Wall in Whitstable, with far reaching sea views from some of the bedrooms. The interior has been beautifully designed by the owner to create a stylish combination of vintage and contemporary. The large sitting room has large sofas and chairs for families to relax and watch TV whilst the other end of the room has arm chairs around the wood burner for cosy evenings. Steps lead down to the stylish deVOL kitchen, which has a large dining table and chairs and from here you can access the garden, which is a charming, enclosed space with a pergola and seating. Upstairs over two floors are the beautifully decorated four bedrooms, one en-suite, and the family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms look across Island Wall to the sea. Your four-legged friend is also welcome to join the family holiday. Whitstable is very dog-friendly with large stretches of the beach accessible all year round, and many shops, cafes and pubs welcome dogs. Whitstable is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous. There is a water sports centre for kayak and paddle board enthusiasts as well as sailing opportunities from the Whitstable Yacht Club. Boat trips also depart regularly from the harbour during the summer months.

- Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.

Whitstable
Sea View Cottage is wonderfully positioned on Island Wall in Whitstable, placing you right at the heart of one of the town’s most sought-after seaside stretches. The beach is just moments away, making it easy to step straight out for a morning swim, a walk along the shoreline or an evening stroll as the light fades across the estuary.
This part of Whitstable has an easy, coastal rhythm, with the sea always in view and the sound of the waves close by. The working harbour lies a short walk along the seafront, where colourful fishing boats, fish huts and local markets sit alongside some of the best seafood spots on the Kent coast. Harbour Street and the High Street are nearby, filled with independent shops, galleries, cafés and record stores that reflect Whitstable’s creative and maritime character. The Neptune pub is close at hand and a firm favourite for relaxed drinks or supper by the sea.
For exploring further, the Whitstable Coastal Trail links the town with Seasalter and Reculver, offering scenic walking and cycling routes along the shoreline. The Crab and Winkle Way provides a picturesque route inland towards Canterbury, where you can also visit Canterbury Cathedral. Whitstable railway station offers direct connections to London, making Sea View Cottage an ideal base for exploring Kent coast.
