Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is a charming cottage that will appeal to holiday makers and golfers alike. In fact, the cottage backs on to the famous Championship golf course of Royal St George's, and Royal Cinque Ports and Prices Golf club are only a short drive away. The location is ideal, being an easy 5 minutes stroll to the beach, and you can bring your four legged friend too for wonderful walks on Sandwich Bay (check the tide times for low tide and enjoy miles of sandy beach). The cottage is all on one level, ideal for those with limited mobility. The large, open plan living/kitchen area is perfect for relaxing and cooking meals, and the two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms at the back of the cottage are spacious. The private lawned garden is great for relaxing after a busy day on the beach or golf course, and there is free parking right outside the cottage. Stable Cottage offers all you need for a comfortable stay with family or friends.

Entrance
Enter through double doors at the front of the cottage. This property is all on one level.
Open plan living room
A lovely large room with a kitchen on one side and a living area on the other side.
The kitchen has everything you will need for home cooked meals and there is a dining table and seating for up to four people.
The sitting room has two sofas, rugs, lamps and a TV.
Bedroom One
Sleeps 2, with two single beds (3ft) and an en-suite shower, WC and basin.

Sleeps 2, with two single beds (3ft) and an en-suite shower, WC and basin.
A large private, lawned garden. Dining table and chairs.
There is private parking at the house for up to 2 cars, through the electric gates. You can also park along the Kings Road in Sandwich Estate.
The property is on one level so suitable for those with mobility issues. There is a small step to enter the property.
- Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am
- Bed linen and towels are provided, no beach towels
- Bath towels and linen are provided. Beach towels not provided.
- Dogs are welcome. Please note additional pet charges are £25 each per stay.
- There is an enclosed garden to the rear with seating.

- A starter pack of sundries such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid and hand soaps are provided to get you started, but you may wish to bring more for your self catering holiday - especially if staying for over a week
- We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
- Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside or outside the property at any time. Please no charging of vapes or e-scooters.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Sandwich Beach is about a 3 to 4 minute walk from the property. When you leave the property, head left along the road at the beach is at the top. You can then turn right towards Deal, along Cinque Ports golf course or left towards the Sandwich National Nature Reserve.
No, please tell the toll officers where you staying and they will allow access at all times.
Yes, Sandwich Bay in Kent is a very dog-friendly beach, allowing dogs all year round without any seasonal restrictions. It is a long stretch of sand and shingle, which is perfect for long walks. Dogs are excluded however from the mudflats/salt marshes, and they must be kept on a lead on the Princes Bay Golf Course Dunes Path. It's worth looking up the tide times too as dogs can run for miles when the tide is out.
Yes, you can absolutely walk along Royal St George's Golf Course, as there is a public footpath that runs right through the course. Please note that this must not be accessed via the back of the property and must be accessed via the footpath sign along Sandwich Bay road alongside the beach. This is about a 5 minute walk from the property.

Sandwich Bay
Sandwich Bay itself boasts 5 miles of private and sandy beach. The beach is one of the best for shrimping in the UK! The picturesque Tudor town of Sandwich is 2 miles away and has a rich cultural heritage as one of the Cinque Ports. It has lots to see and do including an independent cinema, delicatessen and grocers, and many events in the town centre throughout the year. Kent's calmer coastal and inland waters are ideal for kayaking and canoeing. Afficionados paddle the three spectacular routes that set out from both Sandgate and Sandwich Bay, or make for St Margaret's to glide below Kent's remarkable White Cliffs.
Stable Cottage is located just 2 miles away from Sandwich Town, an ideal location to base yourself for a trip to the medieval town of Sandwich and the surrounding areas. Sandwich train station is located just out of the town and the hi-speed train takes just 1 hour & 30 minutes (approximately) to travel to and from St Pancras International. It is also a short train ride away from the lovely little seaside town of Deal.
The lovely little town of Sandwich has everything you might need during your stay, with various independent cafes, pubs, coffee shops, galleries and stylish stores selling unique gifts and home wares.
The gorgeous River Stour is an approximate 5 minutes’ walk from Upper Street and is the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a picnic or take a nice stroll along the river. You can even ride the river bus! This has various tours from Seal spotting to finding out about local heritage. Sandwich is full of nature reserves, golf courses, fishing lakes, gardens and restaurants which make it one of the most ideal places to discover Kent. Going into the spring time (from March) Sandwich host lots of events during the weekends, from markets to music events. Which really add a sense of community to the town.
