Star Cottage is a fabulous holiday home that has been lovingly restored by the owner and is full of charm with many beautiful interior design features. The soft colour palette of the interior creates a warm and welcoming environment to this pretty cottage and we are sure fabulous holiday memories will be created here.There is a cosy sitting room, and a large sociable open plan kitchen/dining room with doors leading out onto the garden, a downstairs shower room and upstairs are the two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom.Your four-legged friend is also welcome to join you. Whitstable is very dog-friendly with large stretches of the beach accessible all year round, and many cafes and pubs welcome dogs.Whitstable is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous.

Star Cottage is just that-a star. The decor is bright, colourful and well-kept. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms modern, with plenty of hot water. Comfy chairs and sofas and a sweet garden with a good choice of chairs and cushions completes this delightful place. We didnt really cook but the kitchen seemed well-equipped. The location is great for central Whitstable, 10 mins walk from the station and very near bus routes making journeys to London, Canterbury and Margate very easy. We would book again

We have returned from our second year staying at Star Cottage in Whistable and we had such a good time we have already re-booked our next stay! The cottage is beautifully presented throughout and the owners have thought of everything you might need for a great holiday. It is very clean, comfortable beds, pretty bedding, luxurious towels. There are beach towels for sunny days and blankets for cold days. Having two bathrooms is also handy along with a decent sized fridge and freezer. The fish and chip shop close to the cottage is great and we enjoyed eating fish and chips in the outside garden. Thanks to Keepers Cottages for their easy booking and clear information on how to access the cottage and great communication. I can't wait to go back again!

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely and comfortable cottage in Whitstable. Very good bed and kitchen. It was nice we could bring our little dog with us. There are a lot of beautiful places around, from Canterbury, over the downs, to walks along the seashore.

Very responsive customer service and fantastic to deal with, shout out to Michaelabig thanks. The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable, a real home from home. The location could not be better. A few minutes walk from the High Street but tucked away enough to be quiet. Cafe, takeaway, pub and co-op virtually on your doorstep. Whitstable is a real gem. We will be back!

What an amazing find weve stayed in whitstable so many times but this is the best Airbnb without a shadow of doubt. Designed beautifully, the most comfortable beds, proper duvets just wonderful throughout. Only thing missing was a bed washing machine and Sunbed.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in star cottage which was beautifully presented. A high standard of bedding and towels provided. Extremely comfortable beds. Dog walking was very convenient at Duncan Downs just a 10 minute walk from the cottage. Overall we had a great week with just some minor issues: We felt the kitchen could have been better equipped ie. A small sharp knife, vegetable peeler, foil, oven gloves( a single glove isnt everyones preference) were lacking On occasions it was very difficult to park, access to the small residents car park would be a great advantage.( particularly for those with disabled badges.)

What a stunning holiday home Star Cottage is. Beautiful decor, great location for walking into Whitstable which we absolutely loved. The attention to detail of Star Cottage was superb. Everything had been thought of. Gorgeous soft furnishings, the spacious rooms worked perfectly for 2 couples and 2 small dogs. Highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent absolutely spot on clean. Plenty of additional creature comforts. 2 bathrooms for 4 people is a luxury u dont get often in a holiday let. Great outside seating space. Close to the town. Great relaxing areas inside.

Star Cottage was lovely in every way. It was spotlessly clean and the owners had thought of everything. The bathrooms were luxurious and the mattress was the best I'd ever slept on. There is a delightful little courtyard garden which was great for the dog's sunbathing.Keepers Cottages answered questions very quickly. If I stay in the Whitstable area of Kent again, my first choice would be staying at Star Cottage via Keepers Cottages.

A stylish, comfortable and clean cottage. The owners provided everything we needed. It was a pleasure to return from exploring the area every day. Whitstable is definitely worth visiting a unique town. One of our best holidays.

Star Cottage is set in the coastal town of Whitstable, offering an easy, lived-in position that makes slipping into seaside life feel completely natural - so much so that you'll never want to leave.

The beach is close enough for spontaneous swims, sunset walks or an early morning wander with coffee in hand, while the surrounding streets retain a calm, residential feel. Whitstable’s scale works beautifully here, that everything feels close, but never crowded. If you are a fan of a morning swim, we'd recommend visiting Sea Scrub Sauna for the best beach and swimming experience.

A short stroll brings you to the town’s working harbour, where fishing boats, oyster dredgers and colourful huts give Whitstable its unmistakable character. Harbour Street and the High Street are packed with independent shops, galleries, cafés and record stores, alongside bakeries, delis and relaxed pubs that reward slow wandering. Seafood is never far away (of course) whether enjoyed straight from a harbour hut or as part of a long, unhurried lunch overlooking the water.

For exploring beyond the town, the Whitstable Coastal Trail offers scenic walking and cycling routes towards Herne Bay and Reculver, while the Crab and Winkle Way leads inland to Canterbury through countryside and woodland. Whitstable railway station provides direct connections to London, making Star Cottage the perfect coastal retreat.
