If a property was made for dogs, it is this one. The garden is enclosed, and the back gate opens up to the very dog friendly beach. Kingsdown beach is dog friendly all year round, so your four legged friend can run freely and swim in the sea. The property is also a couple of minutes walk away from The Zetland Arms, which is a fantastically dog friendly pub. If you are looking for a nearby dog walk, which is slightly longer than Kingsdown beach. We would recommend walking towards Deal, along the seafront, and of course, stopping off at Hut 55 on your way for a coffee and a famously large scotch egg.
Yes, there is a Nespresso coffee machine (small pods) in the kitchen. The Zetland Arms also serves coffee from around 9am, and they also supply Byyga Bo Swedish Buns, which pair perfectly with a morning coffee.
Violet Cottage is very suitable for families. There is plenty of space for everyone, and the garden is enclosed so parents are able to relax while the little ones play. There is a high chair, travel cot and for rainy dates the TV has Sky and a DVD player. There are also books and toys in the bunk room, which should keep children entertained for hours.
Yes, Violet Cottage offers a lovely and private setting, yet is also conveniently located for exploring all that this beautiful stretch of the Kent coast has to offer. While it is located a second away from the beach, it is tucked up at the very top so not many people walk past, even in the busy summer season.
