Rogue’s Cottage
Tucked away in the heart of Deal's conservation area lies Rogue's Cottage, a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian terrace house that has been lovingly restored to create a luxury holiday home. Recently recommended by House & Garden and Condé Nast Traveller, this secluded gem of a property not only has charming interiors with exceptional attention to detail, but also cosy corners and heaps of character and original features.The sitting room has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. There is a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast station and cosy dining room, as well as handy downstairs cloakroom and toilet. Upstairs on the first and second floor are two spacious bedrooms and a stunning bathroom with copper bath and separate rainfall shower. Outside, a cosy courtyard offers a sheltered and peaceful space to relax after a day on the beach.Rogue's Cottage is perfectly positioned just seconds from the lovely long seafront promenade and minutes from the bustling Deal High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.

- Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Deal
Rogue’s Cottage is set in the heart of Deal, a much-loved seaside town on Kent’s Heritage Coast, known for its relaxed pace and elegant Georgian streets. The beach is within easy reach (less than a minutes walk) making it simple to enjoy early morning walks along the promenade or quieter moments by the water.
Deal’s compact layout makes exploring on foot both easy and rewarding. The town’s award-winning high street is a real highlight, offering an excellent mix of independent boutiques, local shops, bakeries and well-stocked delis. Food lovers are particularly well catered for, with seafood restaurants, cosy cafés and welcoming pubs dotted throughout the town. Deal Pier remains a focal point for classic seaside views, while nearby Deal Castle and Walmer Castle provide a fascinating insight into the town’s rich naval and maritime history.
For those keen to explore further, coastal walking and cycling routes lead north towards Sandwich Bay or south to Kingsdown, offering wide skies and open sea views. We would highly recommend other local historic towns such as Canterbury, Faversham and Whitstable - all within easy reach from Deal.
Deal railway station provides direct services to London in just over an hour and half, making Rogue’s Cottage an ideal base for short breaks or longer stays enjoying the charm, coastline and character of Deal.

A show at the Astor Theatre
An Edwardian arts centre on Stanhope Road with a varied programme of music, theatre and film. A good one for an evening in Deal, whatever the weather, and full of local spirit.
Timeball Tower Museum
A Victorian signalling tower on the seafront, where the timeball still drops on the hour. Four floors of maritime history and smuggling tales, plus views from the top.
The Pop Up Cafe
Spread across a few knocked-together shopfronts on the High Street, The Pop Up Cafe serves homemade sourdough, cheese scones and seasonally changing soups – not to mention some of the best coffee in town!
The Pelican Rooms
A hidden gem tucked above The Blue Pelican on Beach Street, The Pelican Rooms offers facials, massage treatments and so much more in the wellness space. A good one to know for a slower morning in Deal.
Bygga Bo
A little taste of Sweden at Deal’s Saturday market. Bygga Bo bakes cinnamon buns and Fika treats that draw a queue before the stalls have properly opened. A Keepers favourite!
Deal Pier
Kent’s last surviving leisure pier, opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1957. Walk its length for sea views, cast a line, or stop at Deal Pier Kitchen at the far end. On a clear day you can see France.
Cycle to Kingsdown
Take the flat coastal path from Deal to Kingsdown, ideal for walking or cycling. Pass Walmer Castle & Gardens, explore Kingsdown’s beautiful beaches and seafront, including The Zetland Arms. Hire bikes locally from Hut 55.

Golf courses in Kent
Kent boasts championship links golf at Royal St George’s, host of The Open, alongside Prince’s Golf Club, Walmer & Kingsdown and Royal Cinque Ports, offering world-class coastal courses and sweeping sea views.
Deal Castle
Deal has not one but three Tudor castles built by Henry VIII, namely Deal, Walmer and Sandown. The first two you can visit whilst Sandown (of which only a few stones remain) is on the cycle path that follows the coast.
