Located right on the seafront in the heart of Deal, Seaside Cottage is a charming Georgian home with stunning seas views from nearly every room in the house, perfect for families or couples seeking a relaxing stay.Once believed to have been a traditional shopfront, a nod to Deal’s rich maritime and trading history, the large picture window now fills the spacious sitting and dining room with natural light, creating a bright and inviting living space. The house has recently been renovated and tastefully decorated with seaside touches throughout.The small, but well-equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need for holiday meals. Upstairs across two floors, are two tastefully decorated bedrooms with the most wonderful sea views. You can wake up to the sound of the waves from the comfort of your bed.Step outside to discover a sweet little courtyard with table and chairs, a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine as the sun goes down.Just moments from Deal’s independent shops, award-winning eateries, and historic pier, Seaside Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Kent coast. Your four-legged friend is very welcome too.

- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property. No charging of e-scooters or e-cigarettes.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.

Deal
Seaside Cottage is set in the heart of Deal, along beach street, offering an inviting base for enjoying this much-loved seaside town and its relaxed coastal rhythm. The beach is within easy reach, making it simple to enjoy morning walks beside the English Channel or peaceful moments watching the sunrise.
Deal’s compact layout and elegant Georgian streets make exploring on foot both easy and rewarding. The town’s award-winning high street is a real highlight, filled with independent shops, antiques, bakeries, butchers and local delis. Seafront pubs and restaurants offer relaxed dining throughout the day, while cosy cafés and wine bars are tucked into the streets behind the promenade. Deal Pier remains a focal point for classic seaside views, and is a must vivist! Nearby Deal Castle and Walmer Castle provide fascinating insight into the town’s long naval and maritime history.
For days further afield, coastal walking and cycling routes lead north towards Sandwich Bay or south to Kingsdown, offering wide skies and open sea views. Deal railway station provides direct services to London, in just over an hour and a half, making Seaside Cottage an ideal base for short breaks or longer stays on the Kent coast.

An Edwardian arts centre on Stanhope Road with a varied programme of music, theatre and film. A good one for an evening in Deal, whatever the weather, and full of local spirit.
Timeball Tower Museum
A Victorian signalling tower on the seafront, where the timeball still drops on the hour. Four floors of maritime history and smuggling tales, plus views from the top.
The Pop Up Cafe
Spread across a few knocked-together shopfronts on the High Street, The Pop Up Cafe serves homemade sourdough, cheese scones and seasonally changing soups – not to mention some of the best coffee in town!
The Pelican Rooms
A hidden gem tucked above The Blue Pelican on Beach Street, The Pelican Rooms offers facials, massage treatments and so much more in the wellness space. A good one to know for a slower morning in Deal.
Bygga Bo
A little taste of Sweden at Deal’s Saturday market. Bygga Bo bakes cinnamon buns and Fika treats that draw a queue before the stalls have properly opened. A Keepers favourite!
Deal Pier
Kent’s last surviving leisure pier, opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1957. Walk its length for sea views, cast a line, or stop at Deal Pier Kitchen at the far end. On a clear day you can see France.
Cycle to Kingsdown
Take the flat coastal path from Deal to Kingsdown, ideal for walking or cycling. Pass Walmer Castle & Gardens, explore Kingsdown’s beautiful beaches and seafront, including The Zetland Arms. Hire bikes locally from Hut 55.

Kent boasts championship links golf at Royal St George’s, host of The Open, alongside Prince’s Golf Club, Walmer & Kingsdown and Royal Cinque Ports, offering world-class coastal courses and sweeping sea views.
Deal Castle
Deal has not one but three Tudor castles built by Henry VIII, namely Deal, Walmer and Sandown. The first two you can visit whilst Sandown (of which only a few stones remain) is on the cycle path that follows the coast.
