Sycamores
Sycamores is a fabulous family holiday home that has everything you could possibly ask for of a holiday home. The large open plan sitting room has a football table and bar area; the large kitchen has an island unit with bar stools and even a sofa and wood burner; the conservatory looks out over the delightful garden and has a dining table as well as sofas and a TV; there is an amazing playroom with toys; the cosy snug has a sofa and TV, great for some quiet time or to entertain the kids; and for guests who want to combine their holiday with work, there is even an office with desk and printer.Outside, the large 100m garden is beautifully maintained and has several areas to sit and relax. There is a patio for dining, sun loungers, a swing seat, even hammocks to while away the summer afternoons reading your favourite book. And the children can happily play on the swings and in the playhouse. There are even bicycles and toys in the shed. Your four-legged friend is also welcome to join you and will love exploring the large garden.Upstairs there are five bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and a further large luxurious family bathroom.If you can drag yourself away from this gorgeous property, you will discover a wealth of things to do. Ideally located in a pretty English village, the house is surrounded by country walks and cycle routes, and is a short 15 minutes’ drive to the historic Cinque Ports town of Sandwich, 20 minutes’ drive to the coast at Deal and 20 minutes’ drive to the mediaeval City of Canterbury. Two great family days out are the Wingham Wildlife Park and Howlett's Zoo 10 to 15 minutes drive away.

- Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
- Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Staple
Sycamores is set in the village of Staple, a quietly rural corner of east Kent surrounded by open countryside, orchards and gently winding lanes. Life here feels calm and unhurried, with farmland stretching out in every direction and footpaths leading straight into the landscape. It’s an ideal place to slow down, enjoy long walks and experience the softer, more pastoral side of Kent. What makes Staple particularly appealing is its position as a perfectly balanced base.
Within a short drive you can be in Deal for days by the sea, wandering the promenade, pier and independent high street, or exploring the mediaeval streets, riverside walks and cafés of Sandwich. The historic city of Canterbury is also easily reached, offering culture, shopping and dining alongside its world-famous Cathedral, while Wingham’s village pubs and wildlife park provide excellent options closer to home.
The coastline at St Margaret’s Bay is within easy reach for dramatic clifftop walks beneath the White Cliffs and views over France, while quieter countryside routes surround the village itself. With coast, countryside and historic towns all comfortably accessible, Sycamores is a wonderful base for longer stays and relaxed short breaks.
