"We arrived at Victory the day before Christmas Eve to a simply stunning sight the house is in a fabulous location overlooking the beach and sea the house itself is magnificent and was beautiful decorated for Christmas. Each room was a joy beautifully furnished with plenty of space the living room more than accommodated six adults with a beautiful fire place and bay windows overlooking the ocean. The kitchen dining room definitely has the wow factor, it was beautiful in the winter and I can only imagine more so come summer with outside space to the rear and the front of the house. We would definitely stay at Victory at Cliffe again. The team at keeper’s cottages made the whole experience for start to finish extremely easy."

"This house is right on the seafront at Kingsdown with amazing views from so many rooms in the house d footpaths in three directions from the doorstep.
The lounge has large, comfortable sofas, an open fire and great views out. The kitchen is large, very well equipped and a lovely place to gather with another fire place.
Bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. The only thing I would suggest is better curtains in the downstairs bedroom as there are only very thin currently and this window does overlook other properties and makes it feel uncomfortable at night.

Parking next to gate for one large car and free parking opposite.

Access from side gate is fine but from front there are steep irregular steps that would be best avoided if not steady on your feet.

Local pubs in easy walking distance and can recommend Zetland arms on beach. Walk to Deal with its pier with a fab restaurant for brunch and old town are a very enjoyable hour or so walk away following the coast. Sandwich is a short drive away and again very nice for a stroll around for a morning."

"Just wanted to thank you again for the fantastic weekend we had at your lovely house. I’m not sure how many hours we spent just watching the weather over the sea with a roaring fire in the grate keeping us warm in the lounge. And the atmosphere of comfort and luxury just kept coming when we moved into the kitchen. I’m sure Deal has some lovely restaurants but we never found out because it was too comfortable to cook, eat, relax, repeat! The views of the beach and the sea are spectacular in winter. Can’t wait to see what they look like in summer!"

Living room

A spacious living room with two large, comfortable sofas, TV, an open fireplace and bay windows looking directly out to sea.

Open plan kitchen/dining room

Beautiful open-plan and well equipped kitchen with top of the range gas cooker. There is a dining table at one end with seating for six, and bar stools at the island. There is also a wood burner in the kitchen, perfect for cosy winter evenings.

Utility/ boot room

Fabulous laundry/ boot room just off the kitchen with washing facilities, extra storage and another fridge/freezer.


The conservatory overlooks the beautiful lawned garden. There is ample seating in here with two additional sofas.

Ground floor bathroom

Downstairs there is a brand new modern walk-in shower room, WC and basin.

Ground floor bedroom

On the ground floor is a newly renovated, spacious double bedroom, complete with a stand-alone bath tub.
Please note this bedroom is only available for bookings for 7 and 8 guests.

First floor

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages.
Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.
Hen and stag parties are not permitted.
One small, well behaved dog welcome - £25 will be charged for your dog to join

The location, Oldstairs Bay is at the far end of Kingsdown beach. It's next to a popular coastal footpath that rises up to the White Cliffs.
