We have a variety of properties in size and destination that would love to welcome your furry extended family. We have gathered together  our favourite spots that can guarantee a wagging tail and smiles on faces.

Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour

Just a stone’s throw from Deal centre, in Ripple, Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour stands as the largest independent ice cream producer in the South East. Holding a special place in the hearts of ice cream enthusiasts, Solley’s farm offers an experience for the whole family. Complete with well-marked trail for leisurely dog walks and cycling, Solley’s is the ideal spot for both you and your dog. Solley’s has something for everyone, offering an all-day breakfast and light lunches, and of course, your favourite ice cream. With over 15 ice cream flavours, it’ll be difficult to choose your favourite. 

White cliffs of Dover walk

Just a short drive from Deal, explore the Kent coastline with this circular walk on the White Cliffs of Dover. With a 5.8km distance, this is ideal for hiking, running and dog walking. The trail remains open throughout the year, providing an ever changing view across the sea, just past the iconic white cliffs. Be sure to exercise caution while enjoying this stomp as the rocky path may have you clinging to one another. 

Deal Castle

Thinking of learning about the local history? Deal Castle is a great place to start. Having been built on the orders of King Henry VIII, Deal Castle is iconic in the history of Kent. Discover artefacts, remains and breathtaking views, Deal Castle is a day out the entire family will enjoy. While dogs are not permitted inside the castle itself, explore the grounds and gardens with your furry friend. Roam through the underground tunnels, walk along the coast path to Walmer Castle and take in the history of Deal. 

The Zetland Arms

Kingsdown Beach

Just a short drive from Deal, whose beach is also a pebbled haven for your pooch, Kingsdown Beach is another dog-friendly spot with picturesque views. Uniquely, dogs are allowed onto the beach all year round, however, be sure to check for any seasonal and time restrictions before your visit!
