"Not only was the location fantastic and good value, we felt the quality of the bed linen, textiles and the prints around the house was high yet unfussy. This made the whole place more pleasant than most. Weather was awful so we didn’t use the outside space. The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean. We missed having a washing machine but this had been listed at the time of booking. We found a laundrette off the high street. All in all I would highly recommend this as a charming place to stay in Deal. Also the stairs while steep were not a problem for our small kids (3 and 5) after we taught them how to manage them and barred access to the kitchen steps with an obstacle. So it’s fine for kids too! We were very happy and the owner was lovely on the one occasion she popped by."

Keepers Cottages are delighted to present The Cove, a delightful two bedroom cottage on Farrier Street, in the heart of the conservation area, just seconds from the High Street and the seafront. The cottage has been lovingly restored, whilst retaining many original features including exposed beams and brickwork. Arranged over four floors, this home has been designed to provide a relaxing and cosy space. The lower ground floor has a lovely kitchen room with a stable door out to a small courtyard garden. Upstairs you will find two comfortable and tastefully decorated bedrooms and one large family bathroom. The Cove would be ideally suited to a couple or a small family and is a perfectly located, self-catering holiday home.Ground floor
Entrance
Direct access through the front door on Farrier Street into the sitting room.
Reception room
Step through the front door and into a beautiful cosy sitting room with a log burner, attractive lighting and a choice of comfortable seating. There is an exposed brickwork chimney breast surrounding the working log burner, perfect for cosy winter evenings. The thoughtfully arranged sitting room is the ideal space to sit and relax after a day at the beach.
Lower ground floor kitchen / dining area
A well-equipped kitchen with fitted cupboards and everything you may need to prepare meals during your stay. There is a modern cooker with an electric hob and oven, fridge and a sink. There is a small window and a door out to the courtyard garden. Dining table and chairs to seat four guests.

A door leads directly from the kitchen / dining room to the small enclosed courtyard garden.
First floor
Double bedroom
Up the carpeted stairs is a good size double bedroom sleeping two people comfortably. There is a built in wardrobe with a mirror. The bedroom has a decorative bedside light and bedside table. This bedroom has views out onto the idyllic Farrier Street and the high street.
Bathroom
A large family bathroom with a large walk in shower, WC and hand basin.
Second floor
Master Bedroom
Up another small set of stairs leads to a very comfortable and large master bedroom with bedside tables, decorative lighting, wardrobes and a chest.
Things You Need to Know
Please note that the stairs at this cottage are very steep, with turns so may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
Wi-Fi available throughout.
All bed linen and towels provided - please bring beach towels.
Please note additional pet charges of £25 per pet will be charged.
This cottage has a high chair available.
House Rules
We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to neighbours.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.
